Sana Ansari began her career as a high school English teacher and Literacy Coach. Currently, she serves as the Program Director for New Teacher Center. Her role involves partnering with school districts to implement sustainable programs in instructional coaching and new teacher induction. She previously worked at the district level on a variety of curriculum, assessment, and instructional initiatives that build the instructional capacity of district leaders, principals, and teachers. She received her PhD in 2013 from University of Illinois at Chicago, and her research examines college readiness, socialization practices and discourses at the school level that inform learning processes for students.
